Perhaps you know what you want or aren't sure where to begin. Holly Dolly Cakes offers a friendly approach from the initial consultation, through the design process, to cake delivery, to guide you throughout the journey.
We only accept 2 to 3 wedding cake orders a week so enquiring as early as possible is essential.

Cake samples
Deciding on a wedding cake is a big deal, we understand. Some couples already know who they want to create their wedding cake but if you need a little more reassurance, you can purchase our postal cake sample box before committing.
The price of the box is taken off your booking fee if you decide to book with us!
They are dispatched every two months and you can order at any time.
Round up your wedding party to try them with you or have them all to yourself! Learn more.
Alternatively, we send out these sample boxes just before your online consultation, a few months before the big day!

Book your order
You will be given an approximate price or price range based on your current requirements. This is not a guaranteed price as many factors can change but it will be a good idea of what you'll be investing.
You'll secure your date with a £150 booking fee. The booking fee forms the first payment of your final bill and you'll receive an order confirmation.
For bookings made 2 months or less before the wedding day, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Design concept
I will create a bespoke wedding cake design matching your requirements and budget as closely as possible.
A lot of this will done over emails so that we can exchange images and have everything in written form which makes it easier to refer back to it.
When discussing your dream cake, I will give advice on everything from sizing, current trends and design techniques to achieve your vision.

Online consultation
We will schedule in your online consultation approximately 3 to 4 months before your wedding.
This will be when we fine-tune your design and discuss all the logistics and timings of your big day.
For fondant iced cakes, you will be sent a sketch of your final design as a keepsake.
If you've not yet had your complimentary cake sample box, we will send it out to you around this time!

Final payment
The final payment will be due by the date shown on your order confirmation, usually 1 calendar month before the wedding day.
We understand that couples are normally very busy by this point and will send out an email reminder for your convenience.

Delivery
We welcome collections for smaller cakes from Holly Dolly Cakes HQ in Sutton, Surrey, however, delivery and set up is highly recommended so that you have one less thing to worry about on your wedding day!
If delivery to a venue is required, we will set up your cake on delivery, where possible. We will liaise directly with the venue or your wedding coordinator to ensure everything will run smoothly.
